Description

Sunset Point Animal Hospital opened 40 years ago, in 1976, when Dr. Tom Tallon decided to locate a veterinary hospital on Sunset Point Road. Fast forward to 1992, when Dr. Richard Brutus purchased the practice and hired Dr. Kevin Conrad as an associate. The two doctors chartered the first spay and neuter program for the Humane Society of North Pinellas. Before becoming the sole owner in 1997, Dr. Conrad worked as a partner with Dr. Brutus. Satisfied clients and happy pets brought Dr. Conrad to expand the clinic in 2008 from a two-exam room hospital to a five-exam room hospital. With everything going well, Dr. Chris Freeman joined the hospital in 2011, while Dr. Conrad phased out his private veterinary work to begin a career in the non-profit sector.
